I had no motives of aggregating a fight between fine dead heads as yourselves, but all of shows that have been recommended so far have been fantastic. Is there a specific version of "Space" that you guys think is best? Just kind of curious on this, but was there a reason it seems that in the 70's the Dead started playing less of songs like St.Steven & Ramble on Rose & Ripple?

There are find in all periods. At first I didn't like the organ from the early years but I'm not now always in the mood for a 46 minute Playing in the Band.

1968 has some great stuff, esp Aug-Oct, and has song selection and a concentrated electricity that other years don't. Check out The Other One on 8-21
